Autumn & Makaila | Family Portrait Session

Chunky arm rolls, leg rolls, chubby cheeks, big blue eyes and a sweet little smile…
Meet MaKaila.
I could absolutely not get enough of this girl.
I wanted to squeeze her to pieces.
And she is so lucky to have a great mom like Autumn.

Caroline A. | Senior Portrait Session

Miss Caroline.
This girl is going places.
You’re looking at one of the next big fashion designers.
She’s headed to an amazing arts school in Savannah and then on to do big things.
On top of all of that, she has the sweetest spirit and a big beautiful smile!

Lemonade Cookies

Cookies that just taste like Summer to me.
Sweet lemon-ey goodness.

These were originally called Lemon Cream Cheese Cookies until my cute little cousin kept asking for those “Lemonade Cookies”.
It stuck.

These are perfect to whip up in the afternoon with your kids!
Easy to make! Easy to enjoy!

Lemonade2

Preheat oven to 350

What you’ll need:
2 boxes of Lemon Cake Mix
8 oz Cream Cheese, Softened
2 Eggs
1/2 cup Butter, Softened

Throw it all in a mixing bowl. Mix it all up.

Lemonade1

Drop dollops of the dough on a cookie sheet. As is!
Don’t try to make them look nice or pretty. Just drop ‘em on there.

Lemonade3

Bake for 8 minutes or until the bottoms are browned.

They come out all cute and yellow with a funky texture.

Lemonade4

That funky texture makes them crunchy on the outside and super moist on the inside. Just how I like ‘em.

HAPPY BAKING!

Loreal’s Magic Perfecting Base | Product Review

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.
There’s my review. Ha.
I have been using this for a few months now and have told many friends about it, but I thought it really needs to be shared on a larger forum.

Loreal’s Magic Perfecting Base

IMG_5669

This little jar of magic will make your face feel smoother than a baby’s bottom.
You can hold me to that.
When I put this stuff on I can’t believe how soft and smooth it makes my skin feel.

This Magic Perfecting Base is part of Loreal’s “Studio Secrets” line.
It is a primer that claims to “give you the perfect skin texture, minimizes the look of pores and fine lines, and leaves skin looking and feeling smooth and resurfaced”.
Check, Check and Check.

Glide this product on before your foundation and you’ll not only find that your skin feels silky smooth, but it will hold your makeup in place a bit longer.
This is great for the warm Spring and Summer days we have ahead.

My opinion: It’s $13 well spent.
